Stopping in to say "Hi!"

So as I said before I am going to start blogging a bit more. I figured maybe a little bit about me would be interesting to you!

I am currently a Navy wife and have a super handsome little 2 year old boy. My full time job is taking care of him and making sure he grows up the best he can. On the side I love to craft and decorate my house. I love re-purposing old items and making them new again. Scrapbooking is also a favorite craft but I also paint, sew, quilt and crochet. Here is a little peek at my family...

As for Snipits, I love to work with my clients to make their ideas come to life. But another favorite of mine is to work collaboratively with my photographer clients to come up with backdrop and shoot ideas using my items. I helped my friend come up with the idea for this sweet little set up using my fox hat. Doesn't he look cozy in his little fox hole???

Well I guess that's about it for me for now. Just so you know don't expect beautifully written or wonderfully said blogs. I am a real life person and I have always been terrible with writing. So what you see is what you get and you will only ever see what is on my heart or how my brain works. Thank you so much for following me and I hope you have enjoyed this little incite into my life!

Let's give an update.....

Apparently I am TERRIBLE at blogging! But since facebook has changed the rules around and I have to play hide and seek with my posts, I think I will try to be better about this. So here's a few new things I've been up to. 

I have been branching out a bit from just my normal little hats and props. I have made a few fun stuffed animals for older children too! Here are some pictures for you....

These are much larger then they look. The giraffe as it sits there is roughly 14" tall!

I have also made some pretty adorable new hats, like this sweet little scallop hat. Definitely one of my new favorites...

So so busy

Lately I have been extremely blessed to be very very busy working on lots of orders. I have made many new items and received lots of awesome new photos from my favorite photographers. My Facebook page (www.facebook.com/snipitsink) is at 550+ fans and is getting bigger every week! I now have an etsy page which is slowing but surely getting more and more fans. I just wanted to express how thankful I am to have every one of you as a fan and loyal customer. I enjoy making everything for you and it makes my day to wake up and see a beautiful baby photo of a sweet little one wearing one of my items. Honestly the photos bring more joy then the money that I am making for the item.
